Intra Veno was founded in 1980, specialising in the distribution of Critical Care devices and Surgical-related capital equipment and consumables to the hospital sector on the island of Ireland. In the intervening period Intraveno has established an enviable reputation as a credible and professional distributor of quality products under -pinned by a quality-driven mission to support its customers with the highest level of clinical and technical support.

A key element in the success of the company has been its significant investment in Technical Service engineers and Education and Training Officers to offer clinical and applications advice. Intraveno operates from its own extensive HQ situated on Tallaght's Broomhill Road.

To best serve its extensive customer base and wide product portfolio the company operates as distinct divisions to allow its sales team to specialise in clinical sectors, enabling our customers tap into a deep reservoir of experience.

The Critical Care Division focuses on Anaesthesia, Respiratory and IV Therapy, and represents companies such as Alaris, Intersurgical and Respironics.

The Medical Consumables Division has a core product offering based around Wound Care, representing SSL and Polyco.

The Capital Equipment Division focuses on large-scale Group I equipment for Theatre and CSSD. This division represents world-class manufacturers such as Tuttnaeur, Belimed and Martin.

The Surgical Division specialises in products requiring a significant level of clinician focus and technical support. Supported by a dedicated Clinical Specialist all the team have significant medical experience. Agencies include Rocialle BARD, Pall and Haemonetics.

The recent establishment of a Residential Care Division is a response to the DoH focus on developing the community and step-down infrastructure to free up acute hospital beds. This Division links into the M&S Division other community-based business, Primacare based in Belfast, and represents many of the same manufacturers such as Abena, Park House and Days Medical.
